General Information

What’s the Buzz ...

Dear Members,

I want to thank all of the members at The Sheila Ray Adult Center for their participation in 2022. Our members make the center a great place to come meet with friends and also make new ones. The last three months have flown by! The new program, Virtual History of Italy with historian Tiffany Deluca was very interesting. We are looking forward to more of her live virtual history lessons!

The Veterans Luncheon was extra special. We met with many veterans who served in many facets of the armed forces. We are grateful for their service and lucky to be able to share a meal with them. As always, the Rotary and P.A.S.T. Luncheons were outstanding. The members of these two groups were so kind and considerate. We are fortunate to have them as part of our community. Everyone had an amazing time at our annual holiday party at Chandler’s Banquets. Diva Montel put on a great show while the festive atmosphere put us all in the holiday spirit.

The Sheila Ray advisory board announced their members for the coming year. We are thrilled to have new members Gail (Secretary) and Joanne (Treasurer) join us. Here we are in the new year with so much to look forward to. We are returning to having themed luncheons almost every month. In January, we are going to have a Casino Luncheon. In February we will have a Sweetheart Luncheon, and in March will be celebrating with the Lucky Luncheon.

Upcoming trips for the beginning of next year will include a trip to Grand Victoria Casino, Drury Lane to see Chorus Line, and Dancing Horses Theatre in Lake Geneva. We also plan to travel to Pinstripes and play indoor bocce ball as a group. Please sign up to be a part of all the excitement. We have so much to look forward to this New Year at the Sheila Ray Adult Center.
