Cherished Treasures Gift Shop Now open!

The Sheila Ray Adult Center manages a Lending Closet of medical equipment available to Elk Grove Village Residents and Sheila Ray Adult Center Members. Upon returning equipment, monetary donations are appreciated. We lend out the following items: walkers, wheelchairs, grabbers, canes and crutches. Days/Times: M-F 9:00am-4:00pm

Township Dial-a-bus

EG Township offers Door-to-Door Senior Bus Service, (847) 437-0300. This “Senior Bus” is for anyone 55 years and older, handicapped or not, living in Elk Grove Township. You must call the day before to arrange for a pickup and it will take you anywhere in Elk Grove Township.

Entertainment will consist of a talent show in addition to a unique fashion show with some surprises along the way. You won’t want to miss these very special performances. Bocce is played outside with eight large balls and one smaller target or object ball called a Pallina. The object is to throw the ball closer to the Pallina or Jack, than your opponent. Join our Stronger Senior Workout Program for a gentle 45-minute seated exercise which enhances everyday life. The video is projected on our large screen. 1-5 lbs weights are available.

Join us Friday, June 24th as we kick off our new walking club! Weather permitting, we will be walking the new path at Hattendorf Park.

The walking club will meet Fridays at 10:30am for 12 weeks. Masquerade Senior Prom

Dance the night away at our annual Senior Citizen Prom! Join us for this Masquerade Ball themed event. Enjoy lemon chicken, roasted potatoes, sauteed green beans, roll/butter and a dessert. Rummage Sale

MyID Medical Bracelet Registration The Elk Grove Village Fire Department will be at the center to register members for the MyID Bracelet. A MyID bracelet is a rubber bracelet that allows EGV paramedics to have instant access to patients' full medical history. Participants should bring specific details regarding their medical conditions, medications including dosages, physician’s name and contact number, any next of kin information and any other pertication information.
