WHO WE ARE Going back to 1926, to the beginning of the FAXE adven ture, it all started with a real and deeply felt love for wood. Today, 90 years later, the love for wood is still strong, and so is the commitment to being an innovative, passionate and dedicated partner for the wood industry. FAXE delivers worldwide to the flooring industry, as well as furniture and building panel industries. Based on de cades of research & development, FAXE continues to de liver Natural, UV & Waterborne Oil Systems, adjusted to the specific needs and demands of our customers. All our products and systems are tested in our own labo ratory. Our in-house technical department validates per formance and processes on the industry line. For the aftermarket, FAXE has a wide range of mainte nance products, which can fullfill any costumer require ments in terms of surface protection, visual effect and du rability.

PRETREATMENT Industrial Lye
Industrial lye treatments penetrate deeply into wood pores to create spe cial effects. Originally, lye was manu factured to prevent the yellowing pro cess of pine or spruce wood. In addition to the more traditional lyes, FAXE offers a wide selection of lyes especially designed to create a va riety of effects on hardwood such as a smoked / aged look on oak. All FAXE industrial lye products are produced in a thixotropic version to prevent splashing in the rollers, and enhancing lye effects, when applied to wood.

OXI OIL SYSTEM Industrial Wood Oil
Depending on line configuration, oxidative drying oils are applied with 7-40 grams/sq.mtr. in 1-2 layers. We recommend using a combination of brushing and pad ding of the oils. For faster packaging and a more “ready-to-use” oiling of the floorboards, we recommend finish ing the oiling process with one of our waterborne sealants, such as FAXE Active Care or FAXE OiLo tion.
