to PGA members who have shown outstanding integrity, commitment to mentoring PGA Professionals, and who have made a significant impact on the careers of others.

Our Architects Original architect “Gentleman” Joe Lee built his career in golf architecture through hard work and dedication. Never one to self-promote, he let his clients and golfers do the talking. His designs followed the simple philosophies that “Golf is a sport to be enjoyed. The designer shouldn’t make it a life or death struggle.” and “A successful course should be fun for a beginner as well as challenging for the seasoned pro.” After nearly two decades among the Southeast’s finest courses, the owners sought a return to the brilliant beauty

restoration of the course’s original and classic elements with the gentle additions of new and exciting ones.

Green complexes: Mini-verde, ultradwarf Bermuda grass. Green collars are 60” around each green and planted with Tifsport Bermuda.

Bunkers: Recently reshaped and all sand replaced. Three new fairway bunkers have been added including two on No. 10 and one on No. 16. Bunker bands are planted in Empire Zoysia.

Fairways, Tee and Rough Grasses: All are planted with the more shade-tolerate Celebration Bermuda grass.

Driving Range & Putting Green: Large Mini Verde putting and chipping green. Sand trap just like what is offered on
