Jamie (Goecks) Riese ’09 and her husband, Josh, welcomed Jaxton Keith Riese to their family on September 24, 2012. Jaxton weighed 9lbs. 1oz. and was 21 ½ inches long and joins his big brother, Kaden, who is very proud. Jamie graduated with a major in communication studies and works for The Management Group in Madison. µ20

2010s Mellissa (Lemke) Benson ’10 married Jayson Benson on September 9, 2012. The newlyweds work as claims adjusters and reside in Madison. Mellissa earned her degree with a major in Broad Field Social Studies and Studies in Education.
Tonya (Ellis) Tharpe ’09 married Harvey Tharpe on Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Madison. Tonya is a minister at Mount Zion Baptist Church, and Harvey is a Behavioral Intervention Specialist at Orchard Ridge Elementary School in Madison. The couple has four children, DeLynn, Chelsea, Isaiah, and Jeremiah. µ21

Iris (Leske) Hill ’10, MA ’12 married Michael Hill on July 7, 2012. Iris and Michael’s wedding party included alumnae Jackie Smith MA ’12, Michelle Taylor ’11, and Angel Ericksen. Iris is a bilingual teacher in the Madison Metropolitan School District, and Michael is an Engineer.

Nick is a Development Manager at Cresa, and is returning to Edgewood College to pursue a degree in Educational Leadership.

have a wedding date set for August 2013. Danny, a Business major, was recently promoted to Commercial Loan Officer at Cambridge State Bank in Cambridge, Wisconsin. Kacy earned her degree in Elementary Education and teaches kindergarten at Yahara Elementary School in Deforest, Wisconsin. µ23
