Ahmed Adnan I chose Edge Hill University because of the fantastic opportunity it provided for me to study. I had a look at the programmes offered by other universities but I did not feel that it was as exciting as what Edge Hill provided. Another factor was the contact I had with the International Office and when I first came to the university it was the International Office that I first came across for an interview, and they were helpful right throughout the process such as arrival. Also, another factor was the scholarship support that Edge Hill provided to help me get to university, such a valuable tool to get many to seek university when otherwise that door would perhaps be closed. It is fitting that Edge Hill’s motto is In Knowledge, comes opportunity because certainly the range of degree courses and scholarships it provides, counts as an investment in those students to help them achieve the best that they possibly can.

Undergraduate Degree
• Higher Secondary School Certificates • Indian School Certificate (ISC) /Intermediate Certificate / Higher School Certificate / Higher Secondary Certificate / All India Senior School Certificate / Pre-University course – awarded on completion of Standard XII (may be eligible for undergraduate study if awarded by the Metro Boards) • International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum of 28-30 points depending on the course. • A levels obtained within India • Applicants with College Diplomas may qualify for entry to the 2nd year of our undergraduate degrees. Each application will be considered individually to assess the areas of study covered and the grades obtained.
Postgraduate Masters Degree
All applicants are required to have completed a Bachelor degree with a minimum result of 50% and above: • Bachelor degree in professional subjects (awarded from a central university, recognised state university or a centre of advanced studies) • Bachelor of Arts or Science (Honours) awarded from a central university or a recognised state university • Bachelor of Education (4 year integrated programme) • Bachelor of Engineering / of Technology ( awarded from an institute of national importance, centre of advanced study, or an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) or the Indian Institute of Science) • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a law college approved by the India Bar Council • Bachelor of Science (Engineering) / Engineering / Technology when awarded from a central university, a recognised state university, or a regional Engineering college • Indian Institute of Engineers examinations A and B.
