What E-mail Can Do For Your Business By: Elizabeth Doss

Email is one of the most frequently used functions of the Internet, and perhaps the most basic use of technology. E-mail is a powerful way to receive and send almost instant communication with suppliers and customers. Other items that can be attached to a message and be transmitted through e-mail are spreadsheets, graphics, photos, videos, and word-processor documents. Having an e-mail

address is now as standard as having a telephone and fax phone numbers. Increasing the speed of business communication, e-mail can also easily distribute information to a large number of people at the same time. Most e-mail software will offer a simplified version of this capability. It is important to use this tool carefully however, so that your messages will not be veiwed ass junk mail. You can find out more about these ser-

vices by using a search engine to look for e-mail mewsletter publishing tools.

Unconditional Love We need to leave the fancy wrappings for ugly sweaters and the latest new techno thingy and bring ourselves wholly and completely to everything that we do. Jesus could have been born in the fanciest palace of the time but he showed up in a barn. The problem with fancy gifts is that as soon as they are unwrapped that get forgotten as soon as the next fancy gift is opened. When you bring your love and devotion to the baby born in a barn you don't need to hide under bows and glitter. We need to understand that the baby

Run for your life...

Christmas time has arrived, though the decorations have been out in store ever since pool floats were packed away. It seems that it arrives earlier every year. You know what that is just fine with me. I keep my Christmas CDs out year round and yes sometimes in July with the top down on the car you will hear Christmas music as I drive by. It is my favorite time of year, not the weather but the over whelming love that fills the air. I know it can get completely out of control, one year I put up nine trees in our house. Yes I said nine and none were in the same room or had the same decorations. My wife now tries to control my Christmas decorations impulse purchases, but she not always there and some new things just magically appear each year. Christmas is a magic time of year after all. I know that all my decorating has nothing to do with the real meaning of Christmas. It all started in a barn. Imagine that the most holy of holidays started out with a birth in a barn. The Wisemen who traveled brought with them valuable gifts to a baby boy born in a barn. Now we all know WiseWomen would have brought more useful gifts such as diapers, meals, and hand sanitizer( it was a barn people). We must not forget the shepherds, they show up because an angel tells them to. Think about it the shepherds just show up after working all day and do not bring anything. Can you imagine what they looked like to the Wisemen? A bunch of Good' Ole boys just show up empty handed. You know what? They are the only ones who got it right. The baby didn't need gold or casseroles, he needed love. That is the true gift of Christmas-UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Do you think you have what it takes to just show up like the Shepherds? What do you bring to the barn? The Wisemen brought fancy gifts from far off places. The Good' Ole boys brought themselves and probably some smelly sheep. It is so much easier to hide behind fancy wrappings and bows. It all glittery and pretty. I have always thought that half the gift is presentation. When you bring the right gift though sometime fancy bows get in the way.

Now That Is Lazy
