THE SCOOP ON SENIOR FUN Eden Senior Center 508 Orchard Ave, Eden - Call 627-4711 for information on any of the following • AARP Safe Driving Class at the Garden of Eden Senior Center – Tuesday, November 13th from 1-5pm. Class is offered free to Veterans, AARP members $12 and non- members $14. Call 627-4711 to register. • Dance at the CB Hut - Dance at the CB Hut- November 26th from 7-9:30. Come enjoy the music of The Bullet Band. Admission is $5. Come at 6:00 for FREE line dance lessons. • Line Dance Lessons Free at the CB Hut on Mondays from 10:15-11:15 am. • Friends Club Meet the second Tuesday of each month at the center for our meeting. We meet for lunch at a local restaurant on the 4th Tuesday of each month. Anyone is welcome. • Legal Aid November 15th at 10:00am call 1-800-951-2257 to make an appointment • Walk our track anytime 5 laps=1mile on the Senior Center Track. • Exercise or Walk with us on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30-9:00. Sit down or stand up class using resistance bands, balls and hand held weights. • Rook or Hand and Foot card games – Hand and Foot or Rook please show up before 1:00pm on Wednesdays. • Walking Group meets at the track on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00-8:30am. Come Exercise with us on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30-9:00. We play every Friday at 10:00 at Mill Ave. Recreation Department. A sport for all ages. Played indoors or outside. Similar to tennis, but on a court the same size as badminton. The Eden YMCA was one of only 100 Grants provided by Lowes, and only one of 3 in North Carolina.
