The Village Green is our main market area featuring all-day live entertainment, including local musicians, Shearwater students, string ensemble, storytelling and roaming performers from Spaghetti Circus. 10am till 12 – Enjoy student performances from Primary School classes 1 to 6, featuring songs and strings, in Shearwater’s beautiful Hall. 12 till 2pm – Don’t miss the Shearwater Spring Fair Busking Competition – one of the Fair’s highlights, once again bringing some of the region’s most exciting emerging musical talent to the stage. Students from local high schools will compete for some amazing prizes from our generous industry sponsors. The winners will be announced on the Village Green stage at 2.30pm.

SIDESHOW ALLEY

Roll up, roll up. Fun for all the family at the Shearwater Spring Fair Sideshow Alley, featuring old-fashioned favourites such as the hi-striker, tombola, coconut shy, frisbee challenge, pot luck, refreshments and more.

A magical space among the trees for young children and their families, featuring much-loved children’s craft and activities including rainbow flag painting, spring garland weaving, crystal fossick, storytelling, games and Moon Bay – a quiet space for mothers and babies, featuring foot baths and massage.

HIGH SCHOOL HUB

The Hub will again feature a massive vintage and pre-loved clothes stall run by the high school SRC. Drop in and pick up some Shearwater style.

MONSTER RAFFLE

Don’t miss an opportunity to win one of 10 abundant hampers in the Shearwater Spring Fair Monster Raffle. Tickets will be on sale at the Mullumbimby Farmers Market on Friday and all day at the Fair. The hampers will be on display at the Village Green, where the raffle will be drawn at 3pm. Winners present at the draw will have an opportunity to choose their hamper. All other winners will be contacted to collect their prize from the school within seven days.

WEARABLE ARTS SHOWCASE

Be inspired by Shearwater High School’s annual Wearable Arts performance event. Watch the film of last year’s event The 13th House of Charts and Storms. Enter this year’s event Homecoming. Costumes and competition garments from previous events will be available for sale.

THE FARM

Shearwater’s biodynamic Farm and Trade Skills Centre will have seedlings and produce for sale. Students will be offering tours of the Farm at 11.30am and 1.30pm. Meet at the Farm stall to learn more about biodynamic agriculture and its role in a Shearwater education.

PARKING

Parking is available onsite. Entry is via the second carpark, 100 metres past the school’s main entrance. Follow the directions of the parking attendants and please ensure vehicles remain at walking speed while on school grounds.
