The one-day event has evolved into the largest gastronomic gathering in the northern NSW calendar featuring 27 of the region’s restaurants and caterers who will showcase their menus through $5 and $10 tasting plates as well as over 100 local farmers, producers, chefs, roasters, distilleries, breweries and designers. Don’t miss the variety of activities throughout the festival; • The highly anticipated TAFE Celebrity cook off 9.30–11.30am featuring chefs Zeb Gilbert (Wasabi), Alastair Waddell (Harvest), Luca Ciano (chef consultant), and Samantha Gowing (Byron Bay Cooking School). • My Mayor Rules cook off will see Lismore, Richmond Valley, Byron and Kyogle mayors facing off in the kitchen – there can be only one winner! As well as the Australian Macadamia Instameet from 10am with Shannon Bennett, The Golden Fork awards, live music from 12 till 4pm, and for the little ones there is the Macadamia Castle’s baby animal petting zoo + Bop with Bonzo live show.
