Q Q Q Q Proving again that Byron Shire is a very engaged community, council staff say the response to the NSW government’s Stronger Country Communities Fund was ‘astounding.’ 34 projects from community groups were submitted, which included shared cycleways, improvements to halls and clubs and the refurbishment of sports facilities such as tennis courts. Council say successful projects will be announced between September and November 2018. Grono says the exhibit explores the outward manifestations and identity of the northern rivers tribe, through its various protests, rituals and events.
