Fielding teams from Under-7s through to Under–16s the new Byron Bay Lennox Head JRLC will be a more competitive and thriving outďŹ t. Featuring a new committee formed from both clubs and headed up by Byron stalwart Andrew Sheridan as president, the club is tipped to be very successful in their Group 18 competition. Mullum Bruns Valley Football Club is kicking off the 2015 season with an exciting new approach to community football. The Biggest Little Club in the zone is aiming to make this a benchmark year for its members as it progresses into the National Club Accreditation Scheme, and will be offering an enhanced playing

Football Far North Coast The 2nd of February will signal the start of registrations for the 2015 Football Far North Coast season and players are urged to contact one of the seven clubs in the Byron Shire to ďŹ nd a team that suits their age and skill level. Most junior competitions will commence on 2 May but it is important that players sign up as soon as possible. Parents are asked to go

to myfootballclub.com. au to register their child; however, contact with your preferred club to get details about the season is encouraged. Football is overwhelmingly the world game, with participation numbers in this region growing to almost 6,500. Children aged from ďŹ ve years (or turning ďŹ ve in 2015) can play. Football is noncompetitive up age 11 and parents are urged to support children in a positive manner. As we go into a new season, FFNC wishes every player, parent, referee and supporter a very enjoyable season.
