wake the dead, they’ve added the convenience of an app called Beat the Q, available for the fastest-ordering and cash-free transactions (no chatting required, just collect). Great if you’re tonguetied before your first coffee – personally, I need an app to stop me talking.

The Harvest people are obviously ignoring their normal human needs with yet another new Sparrow concept cafe opened and already running like clockwork. The first was on the main street of Bangalow and now Sparrow is open in Byron Bay at 1b Byron St (two doors up from Aldi). As usual – tasteful, coordinated, and lovely clean lines, you’ll be able to find the good Harvest bread, Allpress coffee and soon the famous pork, apple and sage sausage rolls. This all comes without having to wait in line or travel over to Newrybar daily. The Sparrow cafe concept is simple, really. It takes tiny retail spots, tastefully decks
