• Along with leading his team to the last two NCAA Division II East Regional titles and a berth in the NCAA Final Four two seasons ago, UB head women’s soccer coach Magnus Nilerud earned his 250th career victory this season. • UB has recently broken ground for a new baseball field adjacent to campus in beautiful Seaside Park. • The University of Bridgeport women’s gymnastics team has won six of the last nine USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Team Championships. • UB’s women’s swimming team captured its first Metropolitan Conference title in February of 2016.

• The Lions were the East Super Regional Champions in 2017 and made the NCAA Division II National Championship. • Head Coach Susan-Cassidy Lyke won her 400th career game Mar. 29 against Queens. • Senior Sarah Rambo tallied two RBIs, and junior Kaitlyn Snyder recorded one RBI in Molloy’s 3-0 win over LIU Post in the 2016 ECC Championship game. • Jaylen Morris (Class of 2017) signed with the Atlanta Hawks and became the first Molloy basketball player to appear in an NBA game.
