Strengthening Families is an evidence-based family skills training program designed for parents who want to improve family relationships and keep their children safe from alcohol and drug use. This multifamily group (more than 1 family attends) begins with parents and children all combined and then break out into their own groups. The last part of the group is a joint family session to practice what was learned.
When: Tuesdays starting June 4th and ending August 20th
Length of Multifamily Group: 3 hours for each group (11 weeks)
Time: 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Where: Southfield Crescent Centre (24445 Northwestern Hwy Suite 100 Southfield, MI)
Available for 8 families and dinner will be served!
Almost half of participants have graduated therapy after completing Strengthening Families!
