It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our First Annual Herd Bull & Bred Female Sale. For our first annual sale we are offering to you our top bulls from the 2010 calf crop, absolutely no bulls will be held back. These bulls come to you backed by our top donor females, who will add increased consistency in the form of proven genetics. It is no secret that one of the single most important factors in improving a cowherd is the selection of a herd sire that can fit your own individual herd. For our First Annual Sale we will be featuring a diverse set of bulls that include high & low percentage Maine and Simmental bulls. No matter your herd type or breed these bulls will flat work, please feel free to give us a call to discuss which bulls will work best in your program. We plan to make this sale an annual event, with that said we will stand behind every bull in the offering. This offering is deep in quality from the bulls to the breds. The bulls come from our donor battery that we think is one of the most diverse and elite in the country. Included in this bull offering are a few choice consignment lots. The bred heifers we have to offer in this sale were compiled from 4B Land & Cattle. These bred heifers are honest in their kind and are selling bred to some very elite sires.
It is no secret that a good operation is only as good as its help, and our crewmembers are dedicated to our customers. No matter if you buy the high seller or the cheapest one in the sale, we are here to help you. When you buy here you are buying in on the entire program. We are willing to help you with selecting, breeding, and management decisions, as well as help you in marketing your cattle. With many of these bulls already boasting a lineage which futures sale topping females as well as National Show Champions. The one constant when it comes to breeding is that quality breds true. As you look through this catalog and begin to make plans regarding this sale, we would like to take this opportunity to inform each of you that Jones Show Cattle, and their consignors plan to make this sale an annual event. With that said all of the bulls in this sale will be guaranteed as breeders, if you have any issues with the bull you purchase please let us know so that an adjustment can be made. Also we will have weight & scrotal measurement data available sale weekend, this information will be posted online as well as made available at the sale site. Sexed Semen Disclaimer:
Due to the fact that sexed semen purchased only guarantees the chances of a heifer being 90%, we will not be able to guarantee that a heifer will result from the pregnancy. We do however guarantee that sexed semen was used on the lots listed as such.
Herd Health:
Health papers for interstate travel will be available. Bred females have been pregnancy checked safe by a licensed Veterinarian. The buyer has within 21 days following the sale to re-pregnancy test their purchases. If any animals are found open within those 21 days you must notify Troy at once for an adjustment to be made. Updated breeding information will be available on a supplement sheet sale day, this sheet will take precedence over statements in the sale catalog.
Bull Testing Information:
All of the bulls in this sale will be weighed & have scrotal measurements taken prior to sale day. Bulls old enough for semen checks will be checked as such. This information will be available for viewing sale week. All of the bulls in this sale will be guaranteed as breeders.
