WHY THIS PROJECT

Is AbsolutelyNecessary

Welcome to the next chapter in the chronicles of courage: the second edition of the 100 Fearless Women magazine. If you're returning, it's a pleasure to have you back. If this is your inaugural journey with us, prepare to be inspired.

believe not in the perceptions of the world, but in the truths that resonate in our hearts. With each morning's light, there's an opportunity to own our narratives and pave paths that previously seemed impassable.

Our first edition illustrated that true bravery isn't the absence of fear but the audacity to proceed despite it. Now, we present to you another cohort of 100 tenacious women who have not only faced fear but have made it their stepping stone, their catalyst. They've danced with fear, and in that dance, they've discovered their rhythm of resilience.

This edition serves as a reminder that our internal battles are shared. Many women face the same midnight worries, the same self-doubt, the same fear of the unknown. Yet, what distinguishes them, what distinguishes us, is the conscious decision to challenge these fears daily.

It's common knowledge now — women often grapple with fear and anxiety differently than men. But it's not just about how we face our challenges; it's about how we rise from them. Every story in this edition is a testament to the idea that when women uplift one another, the bounds of what's achievable extend far beyond the horizon. Growing up, shadows of fear lurked in many of our lives, molding us in myriad ways. But with time, many of us have learned to harness our fears, turning them into our most profound motivators. I remember the transformation that the words of Psalm 118:6 (The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?) ignited in me. Now, I see similar sparks in countless women around me, each fueled by different moments, and different epiphanies. Our vertical connection, our spiritual grounding, is what often provides the strength to stand tall. To

The realm of fearless women is ever-growing, everevolving. And as you delve into these stories, you'll realize that the strength you admire in them exists within you too. Because bravery isn't about never feeling fear; it's about never letting it dictate your destiny. Dive in, embrace the narratives, and find echoes of your courage within.

CECILIA ASHLEY BROWN The Voice

On July 8, 1984, by divine decision, John Eric Brown, Sr. and Carmen Robinson Brown welcomed their daughter Cecilia Ashley Brown into the world at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS. It was the nurturing guidance of her parents and her spiritual upbringing that molded Ashley into an anointed vessel, minister, and gospel recording artist. From a young age, Ashley was deeply involved in her home church, Lighthouse Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc. She was baptized in Jesus' Name and committed her life to Christ early on.

Ashley's affinity for music became apparent at the tender age of 3, when she performed her first solo, "I'm a Child, but Still I Praise Your Name," at her family church. She completed her education at Moss Point High School and furthered her studies at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. There, her distinct voice and style left an indelible mark in the realm of Music Arts. It was also at college where she met Reginald C. Lawrence, a young man who shared her passion for the ministry of music. On September 5, 2015, Ashley married Regi, the love of her life, in a ceremony that marked the beginning of a journey rooted in love, respect, and Godly commitment. Their home became a sanctuary for their close-knit group of friends, fondly known as Family Matters. For 15 years, Ashley served as the Minister of Music at the Lighthouse Church and was the Praise and Worship Leader of the Voices of Lighthouse (VOL). Her dedication to her musical calling was unquestionable. Whether ministering locally or internationally, Ashley always gave her all.

Although she considered herself a "little country girl" from Mississippi, Ashley knew that her upbringing had prepared her for greater things.
