CSU Credit
Students may earn credit for College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams with scores of 50 or higher. CLEP credit can be used to meet CSU GE and AA/AS general education (GE). Students must have College Board send CLEP exam results to the Admissions Office (hand-carried copies will not be accepted) for use on the AA/AS or GE patterns. UC does not accept CLEP exams.
Diablo Valley College
To take the CLEP, students must contact the Educational Testing Service in Princeton, N.J., and ask for a bulletin of test dates and locations. Since use of CLEP is limited, students should consult with a counselor before pursuing this option. Note: Credit is not granted in the same field for both the AP and CLEP exams.
