DVC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nation­ al origin, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or age in any of its policies, procedures, or practices, in compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (pertaining to race, color, and national origin), Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 (pertaining to sex), Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975 (pertaining to age), and CCCCD Board Policy 2001. This nondiscrimination policy covers admission and access to, as well as treatment and employment in the college’s programs and activities, including vocational education. This procedure affords students an opportunity to resolve a variety of complaints, including those alleging discrimina­ tion based on race, sexual orientation, color, national origin, sex, handicap, and age.
