GLASS WALL SYSTEMS
Our glass wall systems have been designed with the uniform appearance of different premises in mind, for various uses and sites, for offices and public spaces. The glass, movable, folding and stationary glass walls can be combined according to the specifics of the site, while preserving a uniform appearance.

PERMANENT GLASS WALLS Scanmikael’s stationary glass wall without any vertical profiles is highly versatile. It gives the designer and the end-user a functional, visual and sound-proof solution. Electrochromic glass can be effortlessly combined with all or some elements. Sliding or hinged doors without bottom rails enable better accessibility for all. Stationary glass walls are also available sound-proofed.

FOLDING GLASS WALLS The Scanmikael folding glass walls are made from top-bearing glass elements that have been hinged together, without any rails installed onto the floor. Folding walls can be folded to the side of the rail without separate structures. The system can be equipped with lockable single or double doors.

MOVABLE GLASS WALLS The movable glass wall system has been developed for comprehensive room partition. The rails that are bent according to the space to be divided enable even large elements to be moved easily. The ease and effortlessness of using movable glass walls is thanks to the patented locking mechanism and curved rails. Movable glass walls are also available sound-proofed.

GLASS BALUSTRADES FOR PUBLIC AREAS Without any vertical posts, the stylish glass balustrades enable your building to look amazing, both inside and out. Glass balustrades create individuality and style, making premises look lighter and more spacious. Glass balustrades are suitable for, for example shopping centres and offices. The profile can also be made to have curved handrails, more easily than ever before. The handrail is suitable as level or stair railing. The profile can be painted in any RAL colour, and different hues of glass are available for the balustrades. Different handrail options available. The glass balustrades are quick and easy to install.

GUIDANCE AND ACCESSIBILITY PRODUCTS DionePro accessibility products are made of stainless steel. Our range of accessibility products now includes a new guide strip, which has been tested and approved by the Finnish Federation of the Visually Impaired (5/2014).

PUBLIC FACADES Pohjanmaan Rakennuspelti Oy (PRP) is a one-stop shop for different customised facade solutions, with a professional staff and a wide range of experience. PRP’s facades cover Reynobond aluminium composite facades, PRP special facades, PRP10 and PRP20 sheet metal panels, as well as PRP facade lamellas. PRP’s facade materials are easily adaptable to architectual demands.

SPECIAL FACADES PRP used copper to build the facade and roof of Apila, the city library of Seinäjoki. In addition to copper, PRP can build facades also from zinc, aluminium and stainless steel. PRP participates in the detail planning of the site together with the architects.

FACADE LAMELLAS Facade lamellas are steel sheets folded on two sides, where the profiling of the edges and the corresponding mounting solution create a strong impression of uniform direction. Facade lamellas are customised for every site. Our range includes six different models. The most typical material being PVDF-coated steel sheet. Facade lamellas can be manufactured for surface and hidden mounting options.
FACADE PANELS Using durable facade panels that are easy to install, the facade cladding of buildings can look amazing. It gives the architect free reins for designing, and adds implementation options. Material options • • • • •
