The multi-function Cocoon bicycle basket by DoggyRide allows dog owners to tote a small dog around town during many urban adventures including car trips, bike trips and walks about town. This allows for dog owners to enjoy spending quality time outdoors with their dog, hands-free. The Buddy is a simply designed and easy to use product. It consists of a bungee loop, central connector and carabiner clip. The bungee material allows for shock absorption from a dog that might have become a bit too excited by a scampering squirrel, while still keeping the owner safe. DUTCH DOG DESIGN OWNER BIOGRAPHY Matthys van Leeuwen, Owner/Designer Matthys is the founder of Dutch Dog Design, designer of the DoggyRide dog bike trailers dog dog strollers, and DoggySnooze elevated dog beds. He is also in charge of the North American operations. He lives in the Pacific Northwest and is an avid cyclist. He and his dog have tested the DoggyRide dog bike trailer for thousands of miles, while his dog has enjoyed testing out various components, configurations and redesigns of the DoggySnooze dog beds. Product safety is the most important characteristic of the product designs. A 'designed by a dog lover' signature is found in the product details. Matthys believes that the DoggyRide should become the number one outdoors product for every dog and dog owner and he is inspired to continue to innovate to improve the quality of life of our best companion. Cloverton the Deaf Dog Fact Sheet
Cloverton is a 4 year old English sheepdog. Cloverton was born completely deaf and communicates via American Sign Language. He currently knows over 50 signs. Cloverton was the first dog to ever be permitted to Bike in a National Multiple Sclerosis Society bike ride anywhere in the world. On June 15th and 16th, 2011, Cloverton made history completing the 150 mile 2 day bike ride from Denver, Colorado to Ft. Collins, Colorado and back. Cloverton is a registered Medical Service Dog. Cloverton logged over 1500 miles in his DoggyRide trailer training for the 2011 Bike MS Colorado ride. This year, Cloverton will be riding his DoggyRide trailer in the 2012 Bike MS Colorado on June 30th and July 1st and then in the 2012 Bike MS Oklahoma Ride on Sept. 15th and 16th. Cloverton has been invited to participate in over 30 Bike MS Rides around the United States and internationally as well. While a schedule has not been finished yet, Cloverton will participating in many Bike MS Rides along with other charitable bike rides around the world.
