LEGAL RESEARCH AND WRITING First-year students gain fundamental hands-on training through Duquesne Law’s Legal Research and Writing Program. Beginning with orientation and progressing through the fall semester in small class sections, you will learn essential techniques for legal analysis, research, and objective writing. You will then devote the spring coursework to additional research skills as well as persuasive writing and oral advocacy techniques.
