Protective glass technology DuPont™ SentryGlas® increases significantly the strength of laminated safety glazing due its unique material properties. DuPont™ Spallshield® combines all the benefits of laminated glass plus anti-spalling (holds glass splints). Provides occupant retention in case of roll-over/side impact. The intrusion resistance is 5 - 8 times higher compared to traditional safety glass. • Highly durable laminated Antispall-film • Inline with EN1552 • Outstanding abrasion resistance • Widely used in windscreens and sitelites • Enhanced post-breakage behaviour: the interlayer stiffness keeps the broken glazing better in place and can still withstand considerable loads • 100 times stiffer and has 5 times higher tear resistance than traditional interlayers by reducing weight • Excellent vandalism protection

DuPont™ SentryGlas® offers new lighter, safer and more durable rail glazing solutions. This specific laminate can substitute traditional laminated glazing in terms of strength, and its reduced total weight makes it a fundamental attribute for rail design.
DuPont performance polymers combine the flexibility of rubbers, the strength of plastics and the processibility of thermoplastics that make them ideal for parts requiring excellent flex fatigue and broad use temperature while saving up to 50% weight compared to traditional metal substrates.
DuPont™ Nomex® honeycomb enables composite structures with the ideal balance of thermal, barrier and light weight performance.
• Lighter weight: up to 40% compared to traditional laminated glass • Higher strength when compared to traditional laminated glazing • Higher durability makes open edges application and sealant compatibility possible • Enhanced post-breakage behaviour: the interlayer stiffness keeps the fragment in place and can also withstand considerable load
