Peterborough Regional College dsquared were commissioned by one of the largest colleges in the East of England, Peterborough Regional College to completely overhaul their website. The college issued dsquared with a comprehensive wish list of requirements, one of the most challenging being to develop a bespoke content management system (CMS) featuring a 'click and publish' in-page editing system. The redesigned and redeveloped site also had to interface with existing college back-end and course information databases, yet offer both an exciting and user friendly look and feel. Working in tandem with dsquared's technical development and support team, were dsquared's designers, always stretching and challenging the 'techies', pushing the boundaries to ensure the site was strongly design led as well as functionally being state-of-the-art.

Since redesigning Peterborough Regional College’s website, hits have increased from 17k to 29k, a 70% increase. Browsing times increased from an average 15 seconds to 3 minutes, an incredible 1100% increase.

University Centre Peterborough – Passport to University. In August 2008 a joint venture between Anglia Ruskin University and Peterborough Regional College was formally established to create University Centre Peterborough. The aim of the joint venture was to develop and deliver high quality university education for Peterborough and its surrounding region. UCP required a funky, study skills website allowing students to earn extra UCAS points towards learning at UCP. The site required high visual appeal and step by step navigation.

For as long as I can remember, Burghley has filled people with awe and inspiration. So much more than a house, Burghley offers a unique glimpse of the way great houses have been lived in from the time of Queen Elizabeth 1to the present day. THE CONTEMPORARY the HOUSE Burghley was built between 1555 and 1587 by William Cecil, Lord High Treasurer to Elizabeth I, and remains a Tudor house at heart. The entrance to Burghley takes you into the old Brewhouse which has been transformed into a modern visitor interpretation centre where you can see ‘Ancestors in the Attic’, an audio visual introduction to the House and the family that still live here. The original soaring Tudor kitchen provides a breathtaking start on a tour through eighteen State Rooms. Look around the State Rooms at your leisure either with one of the fantastic audio guides for adults and families or take your time and speak to one of our knowledgeable room guides as you go round. Guided tours are available for both individuals and groups.

GARDEN Burghley Sculpture Garden was reclaimed from Capability Brown’s lost lower gardens in 1994 and has acquired a permanent collection of over 20 sculptures. The Sculpture Garden is dedicated to exhibiting innovative sculptures made using traditional and contemporary techniques. The unique landscape of the garden allows for an extensive range of styles to be exhibited together; including figurative and abstract sculptures in diverse media.

Huntingdonshire Regional College prospectus 2012/13 Impressed with dsquared’s experience and track record within the education sector, Huntingdonshire Regional College approached dsquared to review and redesign their key recruitment materials including their flagship prospectus. Several designs were submitted and then reviewed with a student focus group and the chosen design developed into the final product which included the use of a fifth colour fluroescent green to give added visual impact and make the product stand out from the competition. The success of the prospectus was followed up with a 4pp wrap around the covers of the local newspaper to promote part-time course availability to local residents.

Papworth Trust

Adhering carefully to Papworth’s need for marketing materials produced in a sympathetic nature to their audience’s needs, dsquared produced both the prestigious Papworth Trust Annual Review brochure, closely followed by their five year vision and mission document and shortly after by the Trust’s ‘plans for the future’ brochure. Consistency of style and ease of legibility were key drivers of all three projects. dsquared designed, project managed and printed all three of the brochures.
