Faculty increasingly turns to disability service professionals for advice on making online curriculum accessible. These questions emphasize the need for the campus to be prepared by utilizing the principles of universal design throughout the course design process. This presentation will demonstrate how universal design can be applied to an online course to maximize accessibility.

What the buzz with “Mastery”?

Benjamin Bloom coined the phrase “Learning for mastery or mastery learning” in the early seventies. In this session, we will be exploring the current “online” meaning of the term, and take a peek at a new tool from Adapt Courseware that was designed to deliver course mastery.
