Nana Visitor

Nana Visitor is best known for playing “Kira Nerys” in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and “Jean Ritter” in the television series Wildfire. She also had a recurring role as villain “Dr. Elizabeth Renfro” on the TV series Dark Angel. She is due to appear in Torchwood: Miracle Day in July 2011.

Garrett Wang

Garrett Wang is best known for his role in Star Trek: Voyager as “Ensign Harry Kim,” and most recently as our very own Trek Track Director. Other acting credits include Into the West, Demon Island, Ivory Tower, and Angry Cafe.

Michael Whelan

Dragon*Con’s Artist Guest of Honor, Michael Whelan has been one of the world’s premier fantasy and science fiction artists since 1980. In the past three decades he has created more than 350 book and album covers. Now that he is devoting all his time to his own visions, he has found many new collectors in the fine art world. His personal work is infused with his signature “sense of wonder,” rich in symbolism, they offer many layers of exploration.

Wil Wheaton

Actor and author, Wil Wheaton is best known for his portrayals of “Wesley Crusher” in Star Trek: The Next Generation, “Gordie Lachance” in Stand by Me, and as a writer for his blog, Wil Wheaton Dot Net. Currently he has recurring roles on Eureka, Leverage, The Big Bang Theory, and The Guild. An avid gamer, he has given voice to many games including Red Dead Redemption, Brutal Legend, Fallout: New Vegas, and DC Universe Online.

Bernie Wrightson

Legendary artist Bernie Wrightson has been creating creature artwork for over thirty years. Best known for co-creating the comic book character Swamp Thing, and for definitively illustrating Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, he also collaborates regularly with author Stephen King, having illustrated The Stand, Cycle of the Werewolf, and the Dark Tower V. He did production design for the Reavers in the 2005 film Serenity.

Derek Yaniger

Retro and pop artist Derek Yaniger has produced images for everyone from Marvel Comics to Cartoon Network. His illustration style is reminiscent of cocktail napkin art of the 1950s. Wildsville: The Art of Derek Yaniger, a collection of his work featuring tiki gods, hillbillies, and burlesque was released in 2008 by Korero Books.

Chelsea Quinn Yarbro

The first woman to be named a Living Legend by the International Horror Guild, Chelsea Quinn Yarbro is best known as the creator of the heroic vampire, the Count Saint-Germain. The Saint-Germain novels are notable for laying the groundwork for the concept of the romantic vampire and 1990s upsurge of “paranormal romance” and trans-genre “urban” fiction.

Timothy Zahn

Science fiction author Timothy Zahn is known for novels of military science fiction featuring complicated characters that often face moral dilemmas, usually between humans and alien cultures. The author of eight Star Wars Expanded Universe novels, his New York Times bestselling Thrawn trilogy marked a revival of the Star Wars franchise. In addition to his Star Wars novels, he is the author of the influential young adult series, Dragonback, and the epic space opera, the Conquerors’ Trilogy.
