The Story Behind the Brand
In 1848, America saw a wave of German immigrants known of the “48ers�. A historic district in Pittsburgh, Deutschtown is where many German immigrants settled. Located along the north shore of the Allegheny River in Pittsburgh, Pa., Deutschtown Academy honors these immigrants and their heritage. According to the U.S. Census, more Pittsburghers claim a German heritage than any other, allowing residents to connect with the school and sports teams.
