Bislang als Tochterunternehmen der Deutschen Lufthansa auf Kurz- und Mittelstrecken unterwegs, wird die seit den 90er-Jahren bestehende Marke ab Oktober viele neue Ziele in Europa und der ganzen Welt anfliegen und damit das Konzept einer weiteren Lufthansa Tochterairline erfolgreich weiterführen: Germanwings. Zum Winterflugplan 2015/2016 werden ab Dortmund einige Flüge nach Palma de Mallorca von Eurowings (EW) durchgeführt. A new airline is set to take off in autumn 2015: Eurowings. Previously a subsidiary of Lufthansa, flying short and medium-haul routes, the brand, which has been around since the 90s, will now fly to many new destinations in Europe and around the world, continuing the concept of another Lufthansa subsidiary: Germanwings. Some flights from Dortmund to Palma de Mallorca will be operated by Eurowings (EW) in the 2015/2016 winter flight schedule.
