What is Cyclocross? Cyclocross is bicycle racing that takes place on a short, spectator-friendly, multiterrain, feature-filled circuit course. Racers of all levels enjoy testing their skills negotiating twisting courses and built-in obstacles such as stairs and ramps . Cyclocross is the fastest growing cycling sport in the USA!

ACCESSIBILITY Cyclocross courses don’t require miles of terrain often held close to the community in city parks, schools, even beaches and race tracks!
INCLUSIVITY Women, kids, men, of all abilities can race. Beginners to Pros. Youth to Masters. Free beginner clinics at each race!
SPECTATOR-FRIENDLY Circuit courses provide a constant flow of rider action!
Who Participates in SoCalCross? The sport that is a little bit of everything thing attracts a little bit of everyone from across the cycling spectrum. In a CX race it is normal to see mountain bikers, gravel grinders, roadies, urban cyclists, and even triathletes all duking it out on the same course. 2014 had over 2,000 individuals participate in at least one event with 65% competing more than five times.
