展覽論述 ┃ Curatorial Statement 坐落在桃園市立總圖書館園區對面,全臺灣第一座保時捷都會概念店,以明亮寬敞的展示 空間,結合藝術展覽帶給大眾全新印象。此次邀請多納藝術以寵物為題進行策展,並共同 提撥部分作品銷售所得為流浪動物送上愛心。 陪伴是最好的愛。 人們與寵物相遇,是一份長情的溫暖,也是超越平凡的陪伴。幸福可以有很多種模樣,擁 有寵物陪伴的人是幸福的;被主人呵護的寵物,更是幸福的,他們是我們生活中最溫暖的 陪伴。本展匯聚各國藝術家的優秀作品,跨越媒材與形式,以視覺表達引導觀眾深入心靈 的領域。以多種動物為主題,通過藝術實踐實現心靈的療癒。 藝術家們以獨特的方式呈現動物的美麗和神奇。觀眾將欣賞到各種動物形象的描繪,無論 是野生動物還是寵物,又或者是傳說中的神秘生物,每件作品都蘊含著不同的情感和故 事。希望能為觀眾帶來愉悅、療癒和藝術互動的機會。不論是藝術愛好者還是對動物有濃 厚興趣的人們,都能在這個展覽中找到與動物相處的好時光,在內心世界建立一道特殊的 聯繫。 Situated opposite the Taoyuan City Public Library Park, it is Taiwan's first Porsche Urban Concept Store. With its bright and spacious display space, it combines art exhibitions to offer the public a fresh impression. For this occasion, Donna Art is curating an exhibition with a theme related to pets, and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of works will be donated to support stray animals. Companionship is the greatest love. The encounter between people and their pets is a lasting warmth and an extraordinary form of companionship. Happiness can take many forms, and those who have the companionship of pets are indeed fortunate. Pets who are cherished by their owners are even happier; they are the warmest companions in our lives. This exhibition brings together outstanding works from artists around the world, spanning various media and forms, guiding the audience into the depths of their souls through visual expression. Focusing on various animals as a theme, it achieves emotional healing through artistic practice. Artists present the beauty and wonder of animals in unique ways. Audiences will appreciate depictions of various animal images, whether they are wild animals or pets, or even mythical creatures, each work contains different emotions and stories. The goal is to bring joy, healing, and artistic interaction opportunities to the audience. Whether you are an art enthusiast or someone with a strong interest in animals, this exhibition offers a wonderful opportunity to spend time with animals and establish a special connection within your inner world.

Donna Art was founded in July 2016 and is located in Taipei. With contemporary art as its core focus, Donna Art expanded its presence in May 2022 by establishing Donna Art Huashan Gallery in the Red Brick Area of Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Its primary services include artist representation, art exhibitions, participation in art fairs, curatorial projects, art platform operation, corporate art acquisition, and art leasing. Donna Art currently represents several promising Asian artists and possesses its own professional exhibition space. Rigorous exhibition layout and lighting enhance the overall presentation. 1980 I nd one sia 「所有人都有創作的慾望,繪畫則是表達這種慾望最原始的手法。」

歷經學院 嚴格的專業訓 練,尤其是在日惹,國立印尼藝 術大學競爭激烈的環境中,從 超 過 上萬名 創作 者聚集之地脫 穎而出,印德 拉的繪 畫 技巧已臻 純 熟的境界,但在發展個人 創作 語彙的過程 中,他選擇使 用最初始的繪畫技巧,捨棄古典繪畫豐富的層次感,呈現 如同孩童塗鴉般的視覺風 格,也就是人類表達自我最原始的方法。

印德拉的繪畫奠基於爪哇地區的原住民文化,並放眼全球各地的街頭塗鴉風格,糅雜成為個人的 繪畫語言,其筆觸及線條充滿活力甚至是野 性,帶有一股孩子的叛 逆。雖然與傳統審美角度相違 背,但總是能夠帶領觀眾回到童年,在觀畫的片刻重拾純真的心靈。其作品既有圖像又充滿文字, 但這些文字往往無法辨讀,甚至與畫中圖像並無關聯,卻通過這種屬於他自己的表達方式獲得無 比的自由,並成 功將 觀 眾引入到其想像的空間當中。用社會觀察 者的視 角,向觀者報導 有關日常 生活的軼聞。每一幅作品都有背後隱藏的故事,而這些故事經過觀者的詮釋也會出現許多不同的 版本。 "Everyone has the desire to create, and painting is the most primitive form of expressing this desire." – Indra DODI After undergoing rigorous academic training, especially in the competitive environment of the National Indonesian Institute of the Arts in Yogyakarta, where he stood out among over ten thousand artists, Indra DODI has achieved a high level of proficiency in his painting skills. However, in the process of developing his personal creative vocabulary, he has chosen to employ the most basic painting techniques, discarding the rich layers of classical painting to present a visual style reminiscent of childlike doodles – the most primal form of self-expression. Indra DODI's painting is rooted in the indigenous culture of Java while embracing street art styles from around the world, blending them into his own unique artistic language. His strokes and lines are dynamic and even wild, carrying a sense of youthful rebellion. Although at odds with traditional aesthetic perspectives, his art always manages to take viewers back to their childhood, allowing them to rediscover their innocence in a moment of observation. His works feature both imagery and text, although the text is often unreadable and unrelated to the images. Yet, through this uniquely personal form of expression, he attains unparalleled freedom and successfully leads viewers into the realm of his imagination. With the perspective of a social observer, he reports anecdotes from everyday life to the audience. Behind each piece, there is a hidden story, and these stories can take on various interpretations from viewers, creating multiple versions of the narrative.

陳盈帆在創作中不過 於關注 原本故事導向的最終 結局。她意圖呈顯的,並非是角色們發揮「團結

力量大」的精神、挑戰與擊退強勢惡人的面向;反而是著眼於這些童話中的角色,他們正踏上旅途、 展開生命新頁的重要時刻。以 原版故事作為基 礎,她進一步想像這些各具性格的動物角色們,在 發生那些被人們所悉知的「事蹟」之前,又有過什麼樣的經歷?

藝 術家表示自己之所以將角色人物作為主要的繪畫對象,便是希望藉由他們的一舉一動,詮釋人 性本身的多重面向。而以故事文本 為底蘊,她從寓言當中覺察其隱含的重要價值。透 過寓言反映 出集體生命的境況,每個人皆能從中尋獲一 份共鳴,亦藉此反思自我、與之 對話。這樣的漣 漪則

正是陳盈帆希冀透 過自己的繪畫所觸發的。毋須任何文字對白,僅 是以圖畫為語言述說。藉由真 摯、質樸的畫面,從而擴充生命經驗的交流。

CHEN Yvonne's creative focus is not solely on the conventional, story-driven, final outcomes. Her intention lies in highlighting the pivotal moments of these characters in fairy tales, as they embark on journeys and turn the pages of new chapters in their lives. Building upon the original tales, she envisions the experiences these distinctive animal characters had before the well-known "feats" took place. The artist emphasizes her choice of character portrayal as a means to interpret the multiple facets of human nature through their every action. Drawing from the narrative texts, she discerns the underlying values within fables. Through fables that reflect the collective human condition, each person can find resonance and use this as an opportunity for self-reflection and dialogue. These ripples are precisely what Chen Ying-Fan hopes to trigger through her art, devoid of any textual dialogue, using only visual language. With sincere and unadorned imagery, she expands the exchange of life experiences.

一反雕塑的沉重厚實感,韓國藝術家姜東見將雕塑帶入靈巧輕盈的境界,以不鏽鋼為主要

創作 媒材,融合了生物的柔軟 及金屬的強韌。模 擬植物生長的姿態,使 用繁複的焊接 技術 結構成動物的外觀,旨在表現物種 之間的連 結,以 及生命凝 聚的力量。在焊接的過程中, 能夠靈活地表現枝條的形 狀,不鏽 鋼拋光後亮的表面折射,在光線之下有虛實交錯、光澤

多變的視覺效果。金屬光澤也能表現 如水一 般的流動感,因此作品顯得更 加靈動有致。其 作品不僅具有視覺美感與藝術價值,更帶給觀眾對自然界的思考和感悟。

All species on Earth are part of a shared community, intricately interconnected. Breaking away from the weighty solidity often associated with sculpture, South Korean artist Kang Dong Hyun ushers sculpture into a realm of grace and lightness. Employing stainless steel as his primary creative medium, he blends the softness of biology with the toughness of metal. Mimicking the postures of plant growth and employing intricate welding techniques, he structures the appearance of animals, aiming to depict the interconnectedness between species and the cohesive force of life. Throughout the welding process, he displays a remarkable ability to adapt and shape the forms of branches. The polished surface of stainless steel reflects light, creating a play of light and shadows with diverse visual effects under varying lighting conditions. The metallic luster also conveys a fluidity reminiscent of water, lending his works a sense of agility and vivacity. His creations possess not only visual beauty and artistic value but also prompt viewers to contemplate and appreciate the natural world."

卞大龍的作品承 載 着與人們 的生活息 息相關的故事,最 具代 表的「白熊系列」中,因為地

球暖化,面對冰川融化的北極熊將不能在缺冰缺糧的情況下生存,而那些被主流世界迫至 邊 緣的人們其實就 如北極熊一樣,但相對之下,他們需要更熱切的關心 和注視;因為環境 正是白熊和人類都渴求的東西,這一刻兩個截然不同的物種感覺彷彿能了解彼此的心意,

共通了情感,北 極 熊雖生命 遭 受威脅,但他仍用溫暖的目光凝 視著人 類,希望引起 更多的 關切。

BYUN Dae Yong's artworks are laden with stories closely intertwined with people's lives. His most iconic "Polar Bear Series" portrays the plight of polar bears as they face the melting glaciers due to global warming, rendering them unable to survive in ice-deprived and food-scarce conditions. Similarly, those marginalized by the mainstream world are, in a way, just like the polar bears. However, in their case, they require even more urgent attention and scrutiny. The environment is precisely what both polar bears and humans ye a rn f o r, a n d i n t h i s m o m e n t , t wo e n t i r e l y different species seem to understand each other's intentions, sharing common emotions. Although the polar bear's life is under threat, it continues to gaze upon humanity with warm eyes, hoping to stir up more concern.

日本 藝 術 家 高 橋 淳 的 特 點 不只在 於 構 圖,也 在 於 技 術。他將油彩及 壓克力顏料直接 擠在畫布上,或使 用

Amidst such a diverse array of choices, what remains constant is his ability to capture the soft postures and vibrant colors of life, along with the qualities he admires within it. Japanese artist TAKAHASHI Atsushi stands out not only for his composition but also for his technique. He applies oil and acrylic paints directly onto the canvas or uses fine needles to add details to the composition. While his works may appear like ordinary paintings from a distance, a closer examination reveals the intricate layers formed by the thick dry pigments, as well as the glimpses of blank canvas or the base color underneath. Through this interplay of chaos and tranquility, he achieves the ultimate balance.

白田誉主也 HAKU TA Yo s hu ya 198 4 Kore a 1984年日本茨城縣出生,現居台灣台中,2012年取得筑波大學人間綜合科學研究科藝術 博士學位。

藝術家筆下的動物們非純粹的個體創造,而是開闢出屬於自己的世界觀,每個畫面鋪成都 幻化成一篇篇活潑生動的故事情境,白田誉主也在自述中曾提到「我們觀看眼前作品時,

會有許多交流,如理解、意讀、猜測等,而在面對動物時,因為語言上的不同,即便透過觀

察與揣測,還是有我們無法意會的地方,是我覺得有趣及具魅力的地方。」,其作品迷人的

神秘特質吸引著海內外藝術愛好者及藝術機構關注,展覽遍及歐亞地區,包括德國、日本、 新加坡等國,並受邀至多間美術館舉辦個展。

Born in Ibaraki, Japan, in 1984 and currently residing in Taichung, Taiwan, the artist earned a doctoral degree in the School of Human Sciences and Care Sciences at the University of Tsukuba in 2012. The animals depicted by the artist are not mere individual creations but rather a manifestation of their own worldview. Each composition transforms into vibrant and lively storytelling, creating a world of its own. As noted by HAKUTA Yoshuyai, "When we view the works in front of us, there is a lot of communication, such as understanding, interpretation, and speculation. However, when it comes to animals, due to language differences, there are aspects we cannot fully grasp even through observation and conjecture. This, to me, is an interesting and captivating aspect." The mysterious qualities of the artist's work have attracted the attention of art enthusiasts and institutions both domestically and internationally. Exhibitions have spanned across Europe and Asia, including countries such as Germany, Japan, and Singapore, with invitations to hold solo exhibitions in various art museums.

Tennessee was born in Greenville, South Carolina, and is a contemporary pop artist. His bold use of color and patterns invokes a visual impact on the audience, but the fact of Lévêque's color blindness adds a poetic irony to it. Despite facing many obstacles in his life and career, he tenaciously pursued his path as an artist. His passion for painting characters and iconic fictional figures drives him to evoke emotions and nostalgic connections with the power of something he can't see. He also conveys his choice of hues through an objective and holistic nature. The essence of his work lies primarily in the emotional storytelling and narrative elements of color, expression, and patterns, and most importantly, the fusion of the senses.

菲利普·考爾伯特 P h ilip CO L B E RT 1979 U.K. 英國普普藝術家菲利普·考爾伯特出生於蘇格蘭,生活及創作皆以倫敦為中心。考爾伯特畢業

於聖安德魯斯大學哲學碩士學位,受到理查德·哈密爾頓、羅伊·利希滕斯坦及詹姆斯·羅森奎 斯特等早期普普藝術家的啟發,致力探索當代數位文化模式及其與深層藝術歷史的對話。他 的畫作中融匯古典大師的繪畫及交錯著現今消費社會日常的象徵,以卡通龍蝦的另一個自我 來敘述考爾伯特的觀點。

富藝斯副主席及策展人斯科娜 · 瑪奇所言:「藝術創作在短時間內被複製、二次創作,然後在

複雜的網絡世界上取得大量讚好,然後又被新的議題取代,成為短暫且膚淺的人造文化。考爾 伯特的作品不僅認同這個獨特現象,更巧妙地繞過它。他利用這個現象,將這種忽視圖像和風

British pop artist Philip Colbert was born in Scotland and is based in London for both his life and artistic endeavors. Colbert holds a Master's degree in Philosophy from the University of St. Andrews and draws inspiration from early pop artists such as Richard Hamilton, Roy Lichtenstein, and James Rosenquist. He is committed to exploring contemporary digital cultural patterns and their dialogue with the deep history of art. In his artwork, he blends the painting techniques of classical masters with symbols from today's consumer society, using the persona of a cartoon lobster to narrate his perspective. Svetlana Marich, Vice President and Curator at Phillips, stated: "Artistic creation is rapidly copied, reinterpreted, garners likes in the complex digital world, and is quickly replaced by new issues, becoming a short-lived and superficial artificial culture. Colbert's work not only acknowledges this unique phenomenon but cleverly bypasses it. He harnesses this phenomenon to transform the act of overlooking images and styles into a symbol-laden, satirical celebration of popular culture." Colbert is acclaimed as a contemporary master of pop art by notable figures in the art world, including Charles Saatchi and Simon De Pury. Furthermore, internationally renowned brands such as Rolex, Montblanc, Christian Louboutin, and COMME des GARÇONS have invited Colbert for collaborative partnerships.
