Costuras selladas. Seams are sealed with a thermo-adherence tape system, to avoid water filtration through stitches holes. Las costuras son selladas con un sistema de cintas termo-adherible, que evitan el paso del agua por las perforaciones de las costuras.

Impermeabilización Our tent’s waterproofing performance depends on follow element: - PU coating at inner side (till 10.000 mm waterproofing effect). - Water repellent treatment at the surface. - Fabric density (till 75 D.). - Seam taped. Without stitching lines, we got a garment with longer life time and 20% lighter and increased waterproof feature. “Solution Dying” technique is used to dye fabric to reach color that is 40 time more resistant to UV rays. Solution Dying technique reduces power and water consumption, being a big contribution to the nature conservation. Cordillera Real Cordillera Real with 6,000 mt peaks in average, is one of highest chain of mountains in the planet. The beauty of its mountains which rise abruptly from the altiplano, covered with glacier. This glacier is made by snow caused by amazonic rainfalls during Bolivian Winter season. Measuring the backward movement of the glacier, as result of Global Warming, was one of challenges and reason of this expedition realized by RAI (Rama de Andinismo de Ingenieria from University of Chile) and DOITE.

Expedition Mushing in Los Andes

Mushing is a new activity introduced in Southern Chile, specifically in IX Region (La Araucania). The Jacobs, a German family who brought their 26 dogs to Chile with the purpose to integrate this Outdoor activity thanks to similar geographic conditions of Chile to Germany. In August of 2009 they realized the 1st adventure through Andes Mountains in Chile-Argentina. They made this trip in 8 dog sleighs, going through magical and adventurous tracks used by ancient prople, discovered wonderful nature in the area. They got to take pictures of millionaire Araucaria pine trees, virgin native woods, crystalline estuary, cascades, active volcano and Mapuche Reservation.

Expedición Mushing en Los Andes

El mushing es una actividad que se está introduciendo en el sur de Chile, específicamente en la Región de la Araucanía. Los Jacob, una familia alemana que llegó con sus 26 perros con el propósito de integrar esta actividad Outdoor gracias a la similitud geográfica. En Agosto del 2009 organizaron la 1ª Travesía por Los Andes Chile · Argentina en ocho trineos, recorriendo una mágica y aventurada senda, dado los cambios climáticos, para descubrir las maravillas naturales y tramos por rutas escondidas utilizadas por las culturas ancestrales que habitaban la zona.
