WESTMINSTER DATE CHANGE FOR 2015 The Westminster Kennel Club has announced a change in the date of its 2015 dog show to the evenings of Feb. 16-17 at Madison Square Garden. Breed judging will once again be held during those days at Piers 92/94. The dog show, previously scheduled for Feb. 9-10, 2015, has been moved to accommodate the National Basketball Association’s All-Star weekend on Feb. 6-7-8, 2015. The NBA has announced that All-Star activities will be split between Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center in Brooklyn, but it has not yet been determined which activities will be held at which arena. The All-Star game is played on Sunday night, while the Rookie Challenge is played on Friday and the slam dunk and 3-point contests are held on Saturday night.

2014 WESTMINSTER KENNEL CLUB TICKETS Ticket order forms will be available on the Westminster website (www. westminsterkennelclub.org) beginning on Oct. 17, 2013 GO ANYWHERE ticket is only available through the Westminster office. The price of this ticket is $175 and includes a reserved seat at Madison Square Garden for both evenings as well as a ticket for the Piers for both days. THE PIERS (this ticket does not allow access to MSG). Piers ticketing will be a general admission ticket at $27 per day plus an online fee. This will allow entrance into Piers 92/94 as well to all of the benching and judging that is held there. There will be limited seating as usual around each ring. We are offering online sales for The Piers tickets. Tickets may also be purchased at the door on the days of the show. MADISON SQUARE GARDEN (these tickets do not allow access to The Piers). MSG has two types of ticketing for the evening judging. These tickets will allow access to the benching area where all of the day time breed winners will be on display. Westminster will be selling a portion of the 100 series (reserved seating) seats through our office. Ticket purchase requests will be

filled on a first come first served basis to new ticket purchases. Last year’s purchases are allowed to purchase their same seats or better if available. The price of a reserved seat in the 100 series will be $120 for both evenings. WKC sells only a two day ticket. The deadline for renewal and new ticket orders through the WKC office is Dec. 13, 2013. TICKETS SOLD THROUGH MSG and TICKETMASTER (these tickets do no allow access to The Piers): The remainder of the 100 series seating may be purchased through Ticketmaster and the Madison Square Garden Box Office beginning on October 17 at Ticketmaster.com or 866858-0008; thegarden.com at a cost of $55 per evening plus an online fee. The 200 series (general admission seating) of seats can only be purchased from MSG and Ticketmaster at a cost of $40 per evening plus an online fee. You will be able to purchase a single night ticket. The price for reserved tickets through the WKC office is $120 which includes a $10 S&H fee. The Ticketmaster and MSG price is $55 per night ($110) plus applicable fees. All MSG ticket prices include a $5 MSG facility charge.

WESTMINSTER: WHERE DO THE DOGS STAY? There are a number of New York City hotels that host Westminster guests every February as Midtown turns into the capital of the dog world. There are hotels near the Garden, near the Piers, and in New Jersey that offer special Westminster rates. Some have pet fees and deposits, and some may require a minimum stay.
