I need to give a copy of a police report to my insurance company for an act of vandalism to my parents car. I am 20 and I was using the car when it was vadalized.

In the report it stated how I suspected my ex girlfriend of doing the act. It states specific information such as her age, ethnicity, address, etc. I have very overbearing parents who are consistently trying to control my life. I told them about the incident but not the specifics and I really do not want them to find out any information about my ex girlfriend because it may cause problems. My parents told me they were going to try and get the police report I filed. Can they do this, or can the report only be requested by the party who filed the grievance. I already got the report for my insurance records because they requested a copy, but how much of the report do I have to give them.

I appreciate how much money is required when starting a car insurance company but I seriously think that with a concentrated effort and a crowdsourced company then we could beat the large companies at there own game. The way I envisaged it working was that the idea attracts as many people as possible and each person pays a membership fee. This was 3 weeks ago - there has been no follow up.

I got charged with dui however not convicted. when getting insurance do i need to state a dui on there or not?

I recently got a dui. I cancelled my insurance afterward and I'm just about to get done with the 90 day hard suspension. I am getting a hardship licese in a week. Anyways i need to get car insurance. I have a trial in January in which I hope to get a not guilty verdict by the jury. In the meantime when I look at insurance quote questions, it asks

of any infractions in last 36 months. Wondering if I need to put down the dui as an infraction or no. (I am innocent untill provin guilty). I dont know if i dont have to put dui down or not since i have not been convicted.
