Report, December 1979, pp. 55-62. Also a telephone inter view with the author. This case, very probably an abduction , is still under investi gation. The two thoroughly reliable witnesses live in differ ent pa rts of the country from the Tennessee town where the incident occurred. I hope someday to be able more fully to explore the matter Lorenzen, pp. 52-69. H UMCAT, from case abstract by Ted Bloecher. Lorenzen, pp. 114-131 . Ibid., pp. 38-51. Ibid., pp. 114-131.

Ted Bloecher and Patrick Huyghe had been handling the investigation of this case, but neither was available to attend the October 5 session . David had been hypnotized a few years earlier by another psychologist, and once before, in September. by Dr. Clamar; this final session was the most informative and dramatic of all. Tho ugh it is not absolutely certain that David's friends were not ta ken , there are clear precedents in the Larson (Lorenz en, pp. 52-69) and Andreassen cases (Fowler, The Andreas son Affair, New York, Prentice-Hall, 1979) for this kind of selective abduction. Sandy Larson and her daughter's boy friend were taken while Sandy's daughter was held "rigid" in a field outside the ship. Betty Andreassen was apparently selected from her ten-member family group, and again the others were held in a state of suspended animation until Bet ty's abduction was over.
