The National Works Agency has, by and large, continued to meet the high expectations we had of it when it was created as an Executive Agency.
Parish Manager
The Agency does not have an easy job, as our roads, bridges, drains and retaining walls are frequently in need of attention as a result of, among other things: (a) the accumulated backlog due to financial constraints; (b) man-made disasters, such as that which obtains from careless and dangerous driving and the wilful dumping of all manner of things in the drainage systems; and (c) natural disasters such as hurricanes and torrential rains.
