Gornergrat by Rail The small town of Brig is situated in Switzerland´s Upper Rhône Valley and is the starting point for a trip on one of the most exciting railroads in the Alps. On a beautiful warm Sunday in June 1997 thousands of enthusiastic rail fans watched the presentation of 60 historic locomotives. Five Film teams covered this event along the beautiful landscape at Lake Bieler and Neuenburger lake. Thanks to imaginative and sometimes daring camera positions (from the cab or a specially constructed dray) they were able to shoot amazing pictures of these unique and priceless machines.
