Applied Physics is an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program that bridges physics with emerging technologies Michigan has a distinguished record of innovation in Applied Physics. With a broad range of multidisciplinary research and access to the most advanced facilities, the program offers a dynamic environment for graduate training. Structured to meet individual goals, our curriculum allows research training blending the discipline of physics with engineering, medicine, chemistry, geology, environmental science and natural resources.
