Pam’s Pullover It's getting colder! My husband teases me that if it's below 90°, I'm cold. That's what made me decide to design a warm garment!

Pam's Pullover, designed in both child and adult sizes, can be made with stripes, chevrons, a solid color, or many colors. This hip length, ¾ sleeve, V-neck pullover is not only warm and cozy, and it’s named after an irreplaceable friend and fellow challenger, Pam. Since becoming friends, she's inspired me to design what I really love- garments!

Dream Catcher Ottoman & Blanket The dream catcher is a versatile pattern, you can make an ottoman, and you can make a blanket or even a mandala! The colorful Heads Up yarn is perfect for this project; it is soft and great for everyday use. You can customize the colors to make a gradient or just solid to go with your decor, the possibilities are endless, just like our dreams!

Flora the Fox & Ryo the Raccoon Puppets I've wanted to create puppets for a long time and when I saw the yarn chosen for this round of Design Wars Challenge I thought: "This is perfect!" Heads Up is very easy to work with, and you will be able to complete this pattern quickly! Heads Up is available in 20 shiny and happy colors so you can easily create many characters! I love to let my imagination fly when I'm creating a design. When I made the first sketches for this I put a lot of thought into shapes and colors to make these perfect! For me, it is very important that people have fun making my patterns and using them. I imagine parents playing with their children, siblings doing small shows... the whole family playing with these fun puppets. This design promises a lot of fun!

Ruffled Rainbows Blanket & Mat Ruffled ribbons in a rainbow--now that’s my idea of fun! As shown, this design is sized perfectly as a lap blanket but also makes a wonderful floor mat for a little one to touch and enjoy or as a rug for kitchen or bath. The border adds to the whimsy as it changes colors on each edge. Easy to work up, make the blanket back in any size using a very rhythmic stitch pattern, and then create the ribbons using your color choice to match your nursery, home or style. Joining of the ribbons to the blanket is quick and easily creates the ruffle. Blanket, rug, or play mat...whatever you choose, the Ruffled Ribbons Blanket &

Mat is versatile, colorful and fun! 12

Audrey Boots The Audrey Boots will keep your kids feet comfy and cozy! I love a good slouchy hat, so why not design a pair of slouchy boots? These boots work great for little boys or girls. A little girl with a cute pair of leggings would rock these boots. When these boots are worn over leggings, they almost look like a little slipper with a pair of leg warmers over them. CUTE! The Red Heart Heads Up yarn is perfect for this project, it's soft and has a perfect weight for footwear. All around a simple project that looks and wears great!

Calida Cabled Bag When I saw that this challenge was going to use the new Heads Up line from Red Heart, I had a bag and a poncho idea for it right away! I went with the bag, and I am glad I did. I like how it turned out; the yarn shows the stitches nicely. The pattern comes with a crocheted handle option, too, if you are not in the mood for the store-bought wooden handle. I also dressed up the bag with wooden beads and some over-sized decorative keys.

Warm Hug Shrug The Warm Hug Shrug is designed for all women from Toddler right up to Adult! I designed this one for a few reasons. 1: When I got the Heads Up yarn in my hands I knew I had to wear it. All over. It felt like a warm hug as I was working the stitches and this Design is like a blanket you can wear in public! 2: It's autumn where I am and I really wanted something that reminded me of Hot Chocolate, Bonfires, Fall Leaves, maybe even a Pumpkin 3: I have a weakness for multipurpose items. It just makes every stitch and moment spent on an item even more exciting! Did I mention that this wraparound Shrug is also a Scarf? Did I also mention that if you

make the length shorter it's a Shrug that goes just across your back? Did I mention Fall? Ok, I may have a slight obsession with this time of year, but who doesn't?

Just Leafy Ski Hat Designed to showcase the vibrant colors and perfect color combinations in Red Heart’s newest line, Heads Up, the “Just Leafy” Ski Hat is sure to be a show stopper out on the slopes this winter! With each new design, I’ve been known to incorporate a new technique or stitch pattern and this design is no different. After all, challenging our abilities is what helps us develop our skills. But don’t fret! This one incorporates the 3 “F’s”: Fun, Fast and Functional…and it may be a little addictive too. Make it in a solid color. Make it in 10 colors. Make it with a big pom. Make it with a bitty pom. Make it with no pom at all. Make it to fit your individual style. (Sorry if that sounded a little Dr. Suess-ish)Come along for the adventure and I’ll show you how you cancreate a band with 5

different looks! Once your hat is finished it’ll have you heading for the hills….the ski hills! Whether you’re 5 or 65, you’ll be stylin’ in your “Just Leafy” Ski Hat this ski season!
