Hampstead School of English, London
Hampstead School of English, London London is one of the most desirable and cosmopolitan cities in the world. Beyond Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, it is famed for its cultural dynamism, creativity and classic landmarks, which make it both truly international and unmistakably British. Along with many famous sights, London also offers so many worldrenowned galleries and museums, a famous ‘theatreland’ and over 30,000 live music events per year. Surprisingly, it is also one of the greenest cities in Europe with seven Royal parks, where you can relax away from the activity of the city. There are also numerous markets, from the open air stalls of Portobello Road and Camden Town to the food markets in Borough and Exmouth where locals and tourists spend their free time. Apart from these world-famous destinations in the heart of the capital there are many more places to visit outside the city centre. Visit the home of contemporary music, art and fashion in East London or visit the charming stately homes, riverside cafes and gardens near Richmond to the south-west. Plus you can experience the distinct neighbourhoods that give London its unique character. London is very well connected with over five major train stations serving the UK and Europe. Five airports connect London to the rest of the world.

I have overall responsibility for the smooth running of all departments in the schools. I am heavily involved in operational issues and also the safeguarding and pastoral care of all our students. I enjoy the multicultural environment that we have in Manchester and York and I work very closely with the General Managers in our other two schools to provide the best experience possible for all our students. I am passionate about my work here as it provides me with a wealth of variety and no one day is the same as another.
Having worked at Hampstead School of English since 1993, I have seen many changes and it is great that the school is still very popular and students enjoy coming here. I am responsible for the day-to-day running of the school. It is great for me to work in an environment with so many different nationalities and cultures.
