Morgan Motor enthusiast club to vist North Creek NORTH CREEK — A local automobile enthusiast club will descend on North Creek this weekend showing off their handmade English sports cars. The group, called the 3/4 Group LTD, represents the New York region club for owners of Morgan Sports Cars. The Morgan Motor Company of Malvern England is the oldest independent, privately-owned car company in the world. This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the company in 1909 and centenary events are planned both in England and abroad. The vehicles will be lined up in the Grand Union parking lot for those who would like to view the cars. “They are really cool cars. Not your normal old English car,” Willoughby said. After breakfast, the group plans to travel to the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake before returning for dinner at the Copperfield, where they’ll spend the evening, Willoughby said. The group plans to wrap up the event with a Sunday brunch at Marshas Family Restaurant.
