Le dispositif artistique final que j’ai conçu “in situ” pour la Demeure du Chaos/Abode of Chaos en 1999 comporte 9 vanités géantes de 3,33 m. C’est avec Christian Maas, ami de longue date et sculpteur, que nous avons entrepris chacune de ces sculptures en tant qu’œuvre collective. Chacune d’entre elles possède un sceau alchimique décidé dans sa forme et son incarnat par moi-même qui crée un véritable chemin initiatique. Ce dispositif comporte 9 règles : 4 sont accessibles aux profanes, 5 sont tenues secrètes. La 1ère règle est que chaque vanité géante ne peut jamais être dans un axe commun à une autre. Le point de référence de l’axe étant le regard des orbites oculaires de la vanité. La 2ème règle établit que chaque vanité repose sur un sanctuaire de la Demeure du Chaos/Abode of Chaos où il s’est passé des événements émotionnels d’une très rare intensité. La 3ème règle est qu’elles doivent être polarisées et réglées conformément aux sources souterraines composant le Domaine des sources appelé Demeure du Chaos/Abode of Chaos. La 4ème règle fait qu’elles doivent obéir à une déconstruction progressive du parcours du visiteur sur les milliers d’œuvres créées en 13 ans transformant le corpus de la Demeure du Chaos/Abode of Chaos de 9 000 m² et être pour autant, un totem initiatique à la visite intérieure. Les 5 autres règles sont connues des initiés de la Demeure du Chaos/Abode of Chaos seuls. Elles sont aussi un hommage à mon Maître Fulcanelli. J’ai déposé un dispositif hardware et software original à l’Agence de protection des programmes qui permet de relier l’ensemble des 9 vanités sur un circuit numérique et hertzien dans un champ spectral visible ou non des visiteurs de la Demeure du Chaos/Abode of Chaos. The last artistic installation that I created in situ for the Abode of Chaos in 1999 consisted of 9 giant Vanitas measuring 3.33 metres high. I began work on these sculptures with Christian Maas, a long-time friend and sculptor, as a collective project. Each work has a alchemical seal, whose shape and material I designed, that creates a genuine path of initia tion. This installation has 9 rules: 4 are accessible to lay people, 5 are kept secret. The first rule is that none of the sculptures must be positioned in the same axis as another, with the refer ence point of the axis being the orientation of the eye sockets of the Vanitas. The second rule states that each Vanitas must be located in a part of the Abode of Chaos where events of a rare emotional intensity have occurred. The third rule is that they must be positioned and adjusted in accordance with the underground sources that run through the Domaine des Sources, otherwise known as the Abode ofChaos. The fourth rule is that they must provide a progressive deconstruction of the path of the visitor of the thousands of works created over a 13-year period that have transformed the nature of the 9,000m² that constitute the Abode of Chaos’s territory, while also being symbols of initiation for a more internal voyage. Five other rules are only known to insiders of the Abode of Chaos. The Vanitas are also a tribute to my teacher, Master Fulcanelli. I have registered an original hardware and software tool with the Programme Protection Agency that connects all 9 Vanitas to a digital and hertzien network to create a visible (or invisi ble) spectral field of the visitors to the Abode of Chaos.
