Norris Ashley Ashley, of New Albany, has been named the 2010 High School Basketball Mississippi Coach of the Year by The Clarion Ledger. Cheryl Marchant Marchant, of Cleveland, was awarded the 2010 “Perseverance Award” from Baptist Health Systems.

Ronnie Tubertini, Tubertini of Ridgeland, was awarded the Woodworth Memorial Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers Association.
Billy D. Stroupe, Stroupe of Ripley, was appointed interim superintendent for the Prentiss County School Board.
