Brothers and friends,
/////////////////////////////////////
“At the crux of both strategic plans—the Fraternity and the Foundation’s—is our mission of Building Better Men: Building Better Men through stronger chapters; exceptional educational programming for all members, not just undergraduates; and service to our communities. The plans are most definitely achievable, but we can’t do it without your help.” /////////////////////////////////////
Vision and determination are two characteristics Delta Sigma Phi has always prided itself in. In 1899, our Founders dared to be “atypical” with a vision to create a fraternity better than the rest because it would take into account the ideals and beliefs of all men, not just those of the majority. Today, as a national organization, the Fraternity continues to have a robust plan for the future and to truly become America’s Leading Fraternity. I am also proud to say the Delta Sigma Phi Foundation now, too, has a plan to steward Delta Sig into prosperous times. At Convention 2015, we launched the Foundation’s strategic plan—our first plan to align directly with the goals in the Fraternity’s Vision 2025. Spearheaded by immediate past Foundation President Mike Hoffman, Arizona State University ’85, the Foundation Board of Trustees and I are honored to bring this plan to life. The mission of the Foundation is simple: to fund the goals and initiatives of the Fraternity. Both strategic plans—the Fraternity and the Foundation’s—are bold but achievable. At the crux of both plans is our mission of Building Better Men: Building Better Men through stronger chapters; exceptional educational programming for all members, not just undergraduates; and service to our communities. The plans are most definitely achievable, but we can’t do it without your help. Throughout the course of the Foundation’s strategic plan, we will follow a matrix of tactics and strategies to help all brothers, our families and our friends Pay the Debt to Delta Sigma Phi. Through increased communication, stronger brotherly support, sound governing policies and more, we will build a greater affinity for Delta Sigma Phi and a stronger foundation for our future. There are so many ways to give to the Foundation, and every gift—big or small— makes a powerful impact on our Fraternity’s future. From one-time gifts to planned giving, giving to the Foundation is easy and imperative to our goal of becoming America’s Leading Fraternity. Visit www.deltasig.org/give today to take advantage of the numerous ways to give. I am honored to serve as the newest President of the Delta Sigma Phi Foundation. I believe in our mission. I believe in our vision for the future, and I believe that together, we can make great things happen. YITBOS, Brad Sullivan, Transylvania University ’99 President Delta Sigma Phi Foundation

Thank You... The amount of trust and faith in brothers provided by Delta Sig is absolutely uncanny, and this is a defining part of Delta Sig for me . . To be a Delta Sig means to be in the most diverse chapter on campus, yet have the most passion for making our view as a chapter the view of all of our members and the view of future prosperity. To be a Delta Sig means working with my brothers— whether in terms of academics, finances, philanthropy or service—to be The Better Man and give back to the surrounding community. To those who have make scholarships available for brothers, you are the reason for which we are a brotherhood. You have pledged your financial assistance for brothers in need, and you have provided us with opportunities to feel the depth and intricacy of the brotherhood. Thank you so much!

I wanted to take the time to write this letter to thank Delta Sig for selecting me as a McKee Scholarship recipient. I also wanted to thank the donors who have made the scholarship possible for young Delta Sigs working to accomplish this huge milestone [furthering our education] in our lives. I am the first of my family to attend college, and I will be the first of my family to graduate. By awarding me the McKee Scholarship, I am one step closer to accomplishing one of my major life goals as well as continuing my pursuit to becoming The Better Man. For this, I cannot thank those who are involved enough. YITBOS to the brothers both past and present for repaying the debt and giving our men such opportunities.

Thank you so much for everything you do for the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Your contributions have allowed me to attend the Regional Leadership Academy. There I learned how to be a better man and how to live out my values. It was all possible because of you. I hope I will one day have an opportunity to repay this debt. I’m forever grateful for your charity. YITBOS. ZIYAD BAJIS INDIANA UNIVERSITY ‘14 FISCAL YEAR 2014-2015

FOUNDATION STRATEGIC PLAN T
he Delta Sigma Phi Foundation has set out to create an overarching framework for the future—to create a strategic vision to guide our efforts over the next 10 years and achieve the strongest possible results for our cause. At its core, the mission of the Foundation is to provide a robust and lasting base of financial support for the educational and leadership initiatives of the Fraternity. To accomplish those aims, we must ensure every aspect of our operations is driven with well-developed strategy and intentionality. At Convention 2015, the Delta Sigma Phi Foundation Board of Trustees launched a strategic plan that—for the first time—aligns directly with the Fraternity’s strategic plan, Vision 2025. To drive this effort, the Board of Trustees served on several task forces to assess current operations, strategies and resources, plans for the future, and best practices in the Foundation community. The research, input and recommendations from these task forces served as the basis for this strategic plan. The strategic plan’s intention is to create a long-term vision that aligns with the Fraternity’s Vision 2025 and drives the Foundation’s operations to excellence. The outcome is a series of priorities and goals, as well as specific operational initiatives for the Foundation. Our Mission Statement: To inspire donors to Repay the Debt by investing in Delta Sigma Phi’s power to transform lives and Build Better Men. Our Strategic Vision: The Delta Sigma Phi Foundation will be a catalyst for transformational leadership by empowering our brotherhood to be a leader among our fraternal peers in innovation, education and leadership. To do so, we will build Sound Policies, Strong Communications and a Solid Foundation; and through the collective efforts of all of our brothers in Repaying their Debt to Delta Sigma Phi, a robust donor base and endowment will be built to provide the Fraternity the financial means necessary to deliver on its promise to be America’s Leading Fraternity in perpetuity. The Foundation will realize this vision through the implementation of policies and practices that achieve the following by 2025: • $20M in (non-chapter restricted) assets • The employment of a consistent, sustainable investment strategy that delivers returns consistent with our peers • $35M in Planned Gifts (future value) across 250 Planned Gifts • 5,000 annual member donors • 100% funding of the Fraternity’s educational & leadership programming needs • $500,000 in academic scholarships to our members annually • Number 1 among fraternity peers in donors giving $1,000 annually
