The approximate distance to world famous beaches on the Gold Coast such as Surfers Paradise is under 75 km and usually takes about 1.5 hours by road. Distance to Brisbane is around 107 km. Canungra Valley Vineyards is located at the foothills of Lamington National Park and is around 33 km to Surfers Paradise, 83 km to Brisbane and 8 km to the town of Canungra. National Park Pty Ltd is the O’ Reilly family holding company which fully owns

EBITDA $1,356,890 NET PROFIT: $778,567 (Note: These figures are after director emoluments of around $150,000 which were paid to the owner for the said 6 month period). Current investment opportunities include: - the development of permanent tents (“Glamping”) in adjacent government owned camping ground (at advanced stage of application) - Potential acquisition and development of nearby land at “Luke’s Farm” The business has been very profitable for a long time over many decades now with the exception being for a few years during the great recession or “global financial crisis” that commenced in 2008. The business is now back to making sustainable profits.

O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat is a multi-faceted eco-resort comprising 66 rooms. The Retreat is situated on a freehold site of approximately 311 acres with a second parcel of 418 acres located close by. Both land holdings are surrounded by the World Heritage listed Lamington National Park. The business essentially provides accommodation, food and beverage, and a wide and diverse range of activities for guests.


Lamington Management Services Pty Ltd The business includes the Management Rights of the recently completed Mt Villas complex which comprises 42 x 2 bedroom and 6 x 3 bedroom Villas of a 4.5 star rating that currently achieve an average rate of just over $400 per night. Within the Villas development, the O’Reilly holding company owns the Lost World Spa and Conference centre which is on a separate lot.


Canungra Valley Vineyards Pty Ltd which owns

vineyards on over twelve acres of Freehold Land, a historic “Queenslander” homestead, Cellar Door facility, Restaurant, and Wedding/Event Venue business. The company has wine sales both locally and internationally into China. Situated at the foothills of Lamington National Park and alongside the beautiful Canungra Creek, this vineyard is approximately 8 kilometres from the township of Canungra on the road to O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. The cellar door, restaurant, wine and function business sits on two Lots that when combined total just over 12 acres. The main facility was a homestead (circa 1880s) that has been transported from the regional city of Warwick.

The Mountain cafĂŠ, gift shop and minimart is a separate standalone facility that services all guests to the Retreat. The gift shop, which was previously acknowledged with a Queensland Tourism award for retail excellence, specifically caters to visitors wanting a memory, a souvenir or something warm to wear on a cool day.

Supporting facilities include a stunning 120 seater Conference Centre, luxury spa, staff accommodation on the mountain consisting of 21 self-contained units plus another 24 rooms which altogether house approximately 60 staff. Other facilities include hikes, flying fox, corporate team building challenges, 4wds and the world’s first rainforest tree top walk.
