Persona ONE LIJOY KUMAR 23 | JUNIOR DEVELOPER | INDIA

“Learning to code is like learning a new language. It takes time”. Lijoy is a 23 year old junior software developer from Kerala, India. He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Peters college, Kerala, India. Lijoy has been selected in the company at a junior level. Since his education is not relevant with development, he has been asked to undergo training at coding languages and has been assigned as a shadow resource. Lijoy finds it difficult to understand the concepts of coding and the jargons used. He is confused on which platform he should be mastering at. He takes twice the amount of time to complete a task when compared to his peers of same experience level Since he is finding development tough to learn, he is thinking of switching to testing roles.

She holds a Masters in Business Application from Indian Institute of Management, India. Meena has been managing a sizeable team of developers and testers since 4 years. CUSTOMER APP.

What is it? The key objective for creating the application is to have a better connect with customers and provide the users a hassle-free self-service facility to apply for loans and also to manage their existing accounts and loans. Secondarily, to institute Muthoot e-wallet and merchandise store. We assume that customers are tangled at times, unable to choose the right bank for a loan, unaware with the process and the terms. Also, the customers are forced to visit the branch for clarifying doubts or to collect documents.

Our solution is to create an application, where users can interact with Muthoot via an app for all their needs and doubts on the move.

Journey We started off with an ethnography study for a short period of time to observe the users everyday lives and to understand how they interact with Financial Services. This helped us to understand the users since we try not to think about how we might use a product because we likely do not represent an actual user group. Instead, we try to imagine or empathize with how our users behavioural characteristics and cognitive load prior to providing a solution. The whole Journey was mapped in the format for a journey map
