Join Lounsberry Hollow students as they perform Because of Mr. Terupt ... readers’ theater style. Following their performance, we’ll participate in a “virtual” conversation with the book’s awesome author, Rob Buyea.

Tales from the Hollow: True Stories Told Live Build literacy the old fashioned way: through storytelling. Based on NPR's award winning Moth Radio Hour, Dr. McKay will lead us in an memorable evening spent “sittin’ on the front porch” and sharing stories.

Explore text as a means of brainstorming ideas to create surrealistic book art. Each participant will have the opportunity to convert text to image and compose and create their own original art work.

It’s All in the Game “We don’t learn math like that any more!” There’s more to math than numbers. Participate in math learning that’s fun, collaborative and hands on.

Have you always wanted to be a news show cameraman, announcer, or film editor? It’s your turn! Join us and participate in an actual production of Lounsberry Almost Live! The Art of Argument Learn to argue with confidence and style by participating in an informal debate. Be amazed by what you can prove by finding the evidence and providing the reasoning!

Solve the Mystery in History Discover history “detective style”, by finding clues and working together to find the truth behind the story. Found Poetry using Animoto Students will guide you in easily creating visual stories incorporating images, video, music, and text to share and express learning. Animoto is also a great tool to use for sharing your own special memories.

What’s the Code? Game design and coding….Together we will explore the world of possibilities through challenge based virtual environments that are accessible for learners of all ages. Write with Your Kids Play an online game that generates random ideas for silly stories. Parents and students will explore their creativity by writing and illustrating a story together.
