The 14 year old snowboarder Simeon Mitrev received a DC BIG SPIN Wild Card to compete with the big boys.

DC BIG SPIN BOROVETS 2013 The DC BIG SPIN snowboarding competition took place on the 16th of February at the Borovets winter resort. The aim of the competition is to focus on fair judging of the ridersâ&#x20AC;&#x2122; abilities to do tricks with rotations and the competition to be easy to follow by the spectators.

Some video footage from the DC BIG SPIN competition was aired on the 22:00 o'clock news on National television.

Last 16-17th of March extreme sport event Simple Session was held in Tallinn Saku Arena. SS13 had 3 disciplines – Skate, BMX and Girls Session (BMX) – bringing to Tallinn more than 200 top athletes. In 2 days more than 10000 spectators visited Simple Session and it was broadcasted live in full HD via Extreme.com, Session.ee and X-Box.

DC, as a main partner for Simple Session 13, hosted VIP’s, riders, distributors and clients in its VIP lounge. DC products were presented in a special shop area together with special merchandise – T-shirts, foam hands, beanies…

Results: Among 71 skaters there were 16 DC supported skaters - Niilo Nikkanen FIN, Ville Keituri FIN, Jorge Simoes POR, Pedro Roseiro POR, Emil Morris LTU, Jaakko Ojanen FIN, Lukas Garbaciauskas LTU, Tim Prozorov EST, Egor Golybev RUS, Gosha Konishev RUS, Misha Poponin RUS, Edgar Kiisa EST, Maksims Feofilovs LAT, Maxim Habanec CZE, Hendrik Gross EST and Madars Apse LAT. IN THE FINAL RESULTS BEST DC SKATERS WERE MAXIM HABANEC 5TH AND GOSHA KONISHEV 6TH PLACE.

DC SHOES FINLAND x GOPRO

DC Shoes Finland started a 7 episodes, 2 months long video project in co-operation with GoPro. It’s about DC Finland Snow team shredding in 7 different parks all over Finland. Starting from the southern resorts and ending up north, to a resort called ‘’Ruka,’’ where the season-ender-event ‘’Wappulounas Presented by DC’’ is held. Three tense days of chilling, partying, meeting friends–old and new–and awesome riding in weird obstacles only found from Wappulounas: That’s what it’s all about! Benni Fridbjornsson, our 8 year old DC flow rider at DC shred Days 2013. Together with Lucas Benacchio, Lauri Heskari, Franck Moissonnier,â&#x20AC;ŚBenni participated in an epic show at the bottom of the piste this April. The minishred course built after a first day on the park was taken by force by thousands of tourists at the Rond Point. 8 year old Benni pretty much killed it there and got the respect of the crowd with pretty nice airs on the corner and front flips on the volcano.

Afterparty for the Nitro Circus movie premiere in Sweden.

Burning Ink Art Show The 6th edition of Burning Ink Art Show officially kicked off in Istanbul 29th of March at 8pm, as a crowd descended on Galipdede Cad to see what this unique Show, at Milk Gallery, had to offer. With a selection of original hand drawn creation from world-renowned street artists, graphic designers and illustrators, Burning Ink caught intrigued eyes of more than 300 persons and happy fellows enjoying some drinks. Ilhan Bilir, one of the three hosting tattoo artists with Rofrose and Dramatik, inked some skin during the launch. Here is an edit of the Opening Ceremony on Friday 29th. Then on Friday the 12th of April, the Closing Ceremony brought everything to a fiery end, when the pieces of art are burnt, to only survive if inked into a new canvas, a buyer's skin. First ever Rail Jam event in Turkey, along with a non-stop, seamless music show, approximately twelve thousand fans had a memorable time. Congrats to the winner â&#x20AC;&#x201C; DC global rider Antonin Chamberland. He took the price money of 10.000$ back home to Cananda.
