Our Story... Introducing DCK Real Estate As Bendigo’s only fourth generation real estate business, the DCK brand and business has been built on traditional family values and a good, honest service philosophy.

Pty Ltd with J.V. Ketterer Pty Ltd then followed in March 1996 under the directorship of Vin Ketterer’s son, Robert Ketterer to form the current company, Dungey Carter Ketterer Pty. Ltd.

With over a century of local real estate knowledge and experience; our earliest foundations date back to 1900 when John William Carter hung his company shingle in Bull Street, declaring J.W Carter & Sons open for business. Leonard Livingston Dungey shortly followed in 1920 with the opening of L.L Dungey & Sons; Vin Ketterer forming his own company, J.V Ketterer in 1961 after getting his start in real estate with the Carter firm.

Rick’s daughter Georgina Dungey joined the team in 1997 before becoming a Director in 2006, proudly cementing DCK’s history as the only fourth generation real estate company in Bendigo. DCK has grown in both size and reputation to today represent one of the most successful and well respected independently branded real estate agencies in Victoria. The current Directorship Group of Robert Ketterer, Matthew Bowles, Georgina Dungey and Josie Stewart continue to nurture DCK’s strong links with the Bendigo Community and an unwavering commitment to professional REIV codes of conduct and ethics as well as best practice standards.
