V hdX^Va _jhi^XZ gZigZVi/ Allies, activists, and others with a passion for social justice come together for this intense 3 day weekend. 6aiZgcVi^kZ L^ciZg 7gZV`h VcY 6aiZgcVi^kZ Heg^c\ 7gZV`h are week long trips around the United States or to other countries. You and ten other students will travel together to work on social justice issues by completing community-based projects. KdajciZZgh ^c 6Xi^dc K>6 is the largest student volunteer group on campus, with 17 different ways for you to volunteer in local schools, non-profits, or other one-time service projects. 8Vbejh @^iX]Zc Egd_ZXi! a student run, on-campus food salvage program that packages unused food for donation to community members in need. 6ae]V E]^ DbZ\V 6ED is UVM’s local chapter of this national co-ed service fraternity that performs regular group service projects.

OUTDOOR PROGRAMS UVM outdoor programs provide direct support to students in pursuit of wilderness leadership training, skill development and four-season adventure. The University of Vermont Outing Club (UVMOC), founded in 1932, is one of the oldest and largest collegiate outing clubs in the United States. In 2004, Outside Magazine ranked UVM #11 nationally on their list of top colleges offering wilderness adventure and education opportunities.

The UVM OC provides affordable wilderness trips every weekend and leadership training and certification opportunities for students each semester. The OC also provides affordable rental equipment to the UVM community. Our focus is providing outdoor fun & adventure while promoting enjoyment, safe use and responsible stewardship of the environment we travel in. Start in August with the Wilderness TREK program, a six day community building wilderness experience (hiking, biking, sea kayaking, canoeing or rock climbing) — an adventurous way to kick off your career at UVM! OC trips and programs are available to all UVM students‌no membership required!

CLUB SPORTS Who Plays? Anyone can join, and everyone gets to play. In fact, over 1,000 students participate in our nearly 50 recognized club sports. What sports are there? You name it!
