O objetivo do Workshop “A Quadra do Futuro” é discutir e propor cidades sustentáveis projetadas a partir de modelagem paramétrica. A partir dessas estratégias foram escolhidos os parâmetros que definiram a proposta de Quadra do Futuro da equipe [re]set. Utilizou-se a largura dos eixos carroçáveis e das calçadas, de modo a diversificar o uso dos modais e promover caminhabilidade, gerando o tamanho e formato das quadras. No interior dessas quadras, criou-se pontos de interesse para o pedestre e utilizando a geometria Voronoi gerou-se caminhos para pedestres e áreas livres ao nível do chão onde alocariam-se as manchas de vegetação. Propondo uma quadra compacta verde, a tipologia urbana base para a disposição das edificações foi a semiaberta, considerando a Taxa de Ocupação, a volumetria foi definida com a intersecção da malha das quadras e do desenho formado pelo Voronoi, sendo extrudada de acordo com o Coeficiente de Aproveitamento. Para promover diversidade urbana definiu-se o uso misto, que é analisado e quantificado de acordo com o algorítimo desenvolvido no grasshopper. Com a densidade construída realizou-se simulação de radiação solar para futuras análises de geração de energia fotovoltaica e aplicou-se conceitos de ilha de calor de acordo com o gabarito, a relação da altura e distância das edificações, fator de visão de céu e o percentual de área permeável
